Hello!
My company uses the latest version of XWiki 10.8. Our faces sync with AD, result is ugly, because the photo is rectangular in AD.
I find old ticket about js libs smartcrop.js http://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI-6842
Any news about problem?

Hi @keha. Unfortunately nobody has worked on this and it’s not on any known current roadmap (https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Roadmaps/).

If you want to have it, I can think of 3 solutions:

  1. you wait and hope that someone will want to implement this.
  2. you sponsor its development. There are some companies offering this type of service, see https://www.xwiki.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/Support#HProfessionalSupport
  3. you implement it yourself, if you’re a developer. The xwiki community can provide guidance through this forum or through IRC/Matrix. You then submit your work through a Pull Request.
