Enable Inline Macro Content Editing for non standlaone macros?

With XWiki 10.10 RC1 you brought us “Inline Macro Content Editing” which will be great (especially as soon as the {{code}} supports this)

Currently, this only works if your macro is standalone (own paragraph).
If the macro is within other content, it cannot be edited inline.

Is this planned and just not yet done? Or are there technical challanges?
If is not easily understandable for a normal users why the editor behaves differently.

This is a known limitation. I explained the situation here http://lists.xwiki.org/pipermail/devs/2018-October/064604.html . The issue to follow is this https://github.com/ckeditor/ckeditor-dev/issues/1091 .
