are there any possibilities to open 3rd Party Software using the Wiki, for example via a direct Link that Users can click on?

Are you trying to reuse the XWiki authentication for logging in the user in another web site? Or what is the difficulty you’re facing?

I’m trying to provide a Link for Users to click on. When they click the Link, I want certain Software to be opened on the User’s PC. For example: You click the Link in XWiki and Word is being opened.
