I am getting the following errors when refreshing or switching pages inside my xwiki:

Now that I have granted access to such a database I get the following errors. Could anyone please help me?
Maybe there is a connection to the fact that the notification macro doesn’t work either.

This is not a problem

It just means that somewhere you’re putting a document reference to a subwiki named http in some markup content and it doesn’t exist.

You should paste your content here to get some help. But it’s not a problem.

That sounds good. Which content do you need to analyze this, since it is happening on each page I am browsing to, even if it is filled with no content?

Maybe you have created some panels or some UIX that are always displayed? Or you have a custom skin?

Maybe you’ve modified some Admin settings such as L&F > Presentation > HTTP META INFO?

The installation is a standard installation builded by the war-file. I didn’t change anything in the HTTP META INFO and used the recommended extensions only. I think the problem is inside the notifications-extension, because of the given informations. This is a UIX which is allways displayed in the upper menu. But I don’t know how to proof that.

Additionaly in every panel, like the users profile, I am getting the following information:

The “notifications” macro is not in the list of registered macros. Verify the spelling or contact your administrator.

I get the same errors in my log. Some processes want to write into a database called “http”, but i used the standard-deb-package xwiki-tomcat9-pgsql, so there is only a database called xwiki.

But i found out: I’ve changed the language to german (multilang-support off). If i change it back to english, the errors disappear. Back to german -> the errors will come back, too.

There are additional errors in syslogs (xwikidbversion does not exist, but it seems that all comes from the try to write into database http, e.g.: tomcat9[7809]: com.xpn.xwiki.store.migration.DataMigrationException: Unable to store new data version 1138000 into database http)

Please take a look at it - the errorlogs get full and the system is very slow because of this. Thanks!

The same on my site. My xwiki is in german language as well and I am now recognizing that the error occures since I have switched from english to german.

OK, sounds like a typo in one of the German translations files. In the meantime would be great to create an issue on https://jira.xwiki.org/browse/XWIKI explaining the step to reproduce it so that we debug it and find where exactly this is coming from.

Thanks for the quick fix of this issue. Now, when you know what the reason is: Can we safely work with the german version and just ignore the errors? Should we take care about something special?
Or should we wait for the next version (when will it be released) ?

Definitely yes

It’s just a bad syntax on one page. It won’t affect anything except filling your xwiki logs.

Yes, the only real consequence is a broken link on a panel on the right.

There is two possibilities if you are tired of all this log:

remove that right panel in the admin
fix the link in the panel by editing the page /xwiki/edit/Help/SupportPanel/Content?editor=wiki (just need to remove the 2 white spaces which are breaking the “Professioneller Support” URL as you can see in https://github.com/xwiki/xwiki-platform/commit/9227bbeef70ad41f9732a635a335a015866d43d8#diff-4efbe6f01bccb53208d5dbc91638a86cR41)

It’s planned today so it should not be long.
